MailFrontier Desktop
MailFrontier also offers an optional Desktop plug in that incorporates real-time community features of its award-winning consumer product.  The Desktop plug in allows individual users to provide feedback into the MailFrontier Real-Time Response Network through junk box actions. The Desktop plug-in also protects email that comes to the user desktop through alternate sources—such as Web based email.

User Profiler
User Profilers prevent false positives by automatically creating allowed list email addresses for users. When a user sends an email message, the recipient email address is placed on an allowed list for the sender. This per-user allowed list creation ensures the recipient’s response is not be accidentally quarantined.  User profiler is available for the following mail servers:

  • Outlook: The first time the User Profiler runs on Outlook, it obtains the past 30 days of sent email addresses and populates Enterprise Gateway from the first day it is turned on.
  • Lotus: The Lotus Notes User Profiler posts sent email information to the Enterprise Gateway in real time.
  • Microsoft Exchange: User Profilers watch the outbound log files and when an employee sends an email, the recipient of that email is placed on an allowed list for that employee.
  • Solaris: User Profilers watch the outbound log files and when an employee sends an email, the recipient of that email is placed on an allowed list for that employee.

All User Profilers operate strictly in the background and require nothing from the user.
