All-in-One Architecture
In an All-in-One Architecture installation, Enterprise Edition receives
the email from the upstream servers, quarantines any identified junk messages,
and sends the non-junk mail to the downstream server. You can run an All-in-One
configuration in a cluster for redundancy and scalability. MailFrontier
recommends an All-in-One configuration for the simplest possible configuration
scenario.
Split Architecture
Enterprise Edition supports a distributed implementation, analyzing
email at the perimeter of your organization and providing system management,
reporting, and a central email quarantine inside your secure corporate

perimeter independently of the centralized quarantine, system management,
and reporting of Enterprise Edition. With Remote Analyzers, good
email is passed through, while bad email can be prevented from entering

Equally important, it allows sensitive information associated with
system management, reporting and quarantine to be located safely
inside your organization.
- Distributed Analysis, Centralized Management
Corporations with multiple data centers have unique requirements
for distributed email filtering with centralized messaging management.
Remote Analyzers support those requirements by filtering the email
as it flows into each data center, while Enterprise Edition provides
centralized, company-wide quarantine, management, and reporting.
